Capabilities

What Tāraka does

  • Log today's practice in under thirty seconds

A member opens the app, checks off the day's tasks, and is done. That interaction is the product, and everything else is designed around not slowing it down.

  • A feed from the program and the centre

Program managers post to everyone enrolled. Group leaders post to their own groups. A member sees one feed with both.

  • Onboarding handed out by people

Leaders give members their first PIN in person. A member activates with the PIN, sets their own, and is signed in without an email address or a phone verification step.

  • Metrics that follow the hierarchy

Every leader sees participation for their own subtree, rolled up from the groups below and drillable down to an individual member.

  • Tenant isolation in the database

Each organization's data is separated by row-level security in SQL Server, the same pattern that is now the reference across every Garuda product.

Built for the first day being the biggest

Tāraka’s first community goes live with more than a hundred thousand members and thousands of leaders, with no pilot phase. The activation flow, the media pipeline and the push notifications were designed against that number from the start.

Made for the phones people actually carry

The member app is React Native so that Telugu conjuncts render through the native text engine on low-end Android, not a custom renderer. Audio plays in the background and on the lock screen, and the app keeps working when the signal does not.

Leaders are the launch

Because activation depends on leaders handing out PINs, the leader dashboard shows distribution progress as clearly as it shows practice metrics. The organization can see which groups have not been reached yet, and act.

Where Tāraka sits

Every Garuda product shares one identity and one engineering foundation. The lit edges are Tāraka's.
